Types of Membership

 

 ·

 Regular Membership, available for those who operate a "Bed and Breakfast" as is understood in its common, universal usage, which is the operation of an establishment where guests may receive a night's lodging accompanied by a breakfast, either full or continental, with both the lodging and the breakfast being charged as a unit price. 

 ·

 Associate Membership, offered to any business operated as supportive of the regular operation of a Bed and Breakfast.  This would include, but not be limited to, vendors of B&B supplies, food caterers, special entertainment facilities, Inn Sitters, etc.

   

 

Anyone desiring membership in this association should submit a completed application at the time of attendance of a regular meeting.  Meetings are bi-monthly and normally held the 2nd Tuesday of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December at various members B&B's.  Please contact us for meeting location and time.

 

 

Basic Regular Membership Requirements

 

 

A property review will be scheduled at the convenience of the applicant.  Upon certification, the new member will be expected to host a meeting of the association, at which time membership will become official.

Member inns will operate in a professional business-like manor.

· Members are responsible for paying association fees.

·

Member inns are required to pass a re-inspection every two years.

Copies of your brochure and/or business card

 

·

Evidence of insurance (declaration page showing current liability coverage)
  · State and/or County hotel/motel tax document
  · County food handlers and/or managers certificate (if applicable)
